For example, if a company doesn’t lubricate the robot’s bearings regularly, the bearings will wear out faster, and eventually, they may fail completely. This can result in costly downtime and repairs.
Inadequate training of maintenance staff is another issue. Industrial robots are complex machines, and it takes a certain level of expertise to maintain them properly. If the maintenance staff doesn’t have the right training, they may not be able to identify potential problems early or may make mistakes during the maintenance process.
